Description

You will design, develop, and deliver scalable data solutions within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy data engineering solutions using Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Develop ETL processes, data warehousing architectures, and data models.
• Troubleshoot complex data issues and optimize existing data workflows.
• Coach and mentor data engineers on technical topics including Databricks and workflow optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions into broader business processes.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Databricks, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Cosmos DB.
• Proficiency in Python, PySpark, SQL, and Scala.
• Extensive experience with Big Data technologies including Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Apache Kafka.
• Proven expertise in ETL processes, data modeling, and data warehousing.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines and using Git for version control.
• Ability to perform graph-based data analysis using Azure Cosmos DB.
• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Databricks Certified Associate Developer for Apache Spark.
• Experience with Data Architecting, Power BI reporting, and data governance.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
