Description

You will own the data migration lifecycle during a vendor transition, ensuring the secure and accurate movement of data from the incumbent system to the new provider.

Responsibilities

• Interface with incumbent and new vendors to coordinate data extraction and transfer workflows.
• Manage and mitigate data migration risks associated with the transition between data stores.
• Oversee the end-to-end movement of agency data to the new vendor environment.
• Provide industry recommendations and best practice advice for data migration processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with large-scale data migration projects.
• 5+ years of experience managing data flows and data storage options.
• 5+ years of experience in data mapping and data dictionary development and maintenance.
• 5+ years of experience in business analysis and database management and analysis.
• 5+ years of experience with Azure data storage options.
• 5+ years of experience with process mapping.
• Strong communication and project management skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
