Description

You will design and maintain complex data architectures to support business intelligence and decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Create, optimize, and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models to ensure high data quality and minimal redundancy.
• Design, develop, test, and troubleshoot dashboards and data sources for customer service and ad-hoc analysis.
• Perform data synthesis, mining, and analysis using linear and non-linear regression modeling.
• Track data lineage from source to target and document data flows and metadata.
• Validate business data objects for accuracy and completeness while evaluating databases for discrepancies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience (or 14+ years with a BS/BA).
• 2-5 years of experience applying conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling principles.
• 6-8 years of experience performing data modeling within enhancement and maintenance environments.
• Proficiency in SAS, Tableau, Webfocus8, Microsoft SQL Server, and Toad.
• Strong background in Mathematics or Statistics, specifically modeling datasets using linear and non-linear regression.
• Experience with data profiling, data mining, and documenting data quality issues.
• Proven ability to analyze and document data flows and authoritative data lineage.
• Advanced SQL skills for developing queries, views, and data explorations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of metadata management and modeling tools such as Erwin or ER/Studio.
