Description

You will design and develop data models to support business requirements while ensuring data consistency and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet business needs.
• Utilize DRB methodologies to create and maintain comprehensive data resource books.
• Optimize database schemas, indexing, and partitioning for efficient storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into effective models.
• Support ETL processes and data integration to maintain integrity across systems.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data modelling, database design, and data management.
• Expertise in DRB (Data Resource Book) methodologies and tools.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and managing databases.
• Proficiency with data modelling tools such as Erwin or IBM InfoSphere Data Architect.
• Strong understanding of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and data integration.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices.
• Knowledge of Cloud environments including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Understanding of data governance, data engineering, and data visualization.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Big Data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
• Master's degree in a technical field.
