Description

You will design and implement complex data architectures for large-scale enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models across raw, refined, curated, and BI zones.
• Lead data modeling workshops with business and technology stakeholders to capture requirements.
• Perform detailed data analysis, profiling, and cardinality identification on source data.
• Create data dictionaries, DDLs, and source-to-target mapping documents with transformation rules.
• Define data architecture, partitioning, and CDC strategies to support business needs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Data Modeling and Data Analysis.
• Experience designing normalized, denormalized, relational, dimensional, star, and snowflake schemas.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data tools including Hive, S3, Trino, and Hue.
• Proficiency in cloud and big data databases such as Snowflake, Redshift, or Hive.
• Experience with on-prem databases including Oracle, SQL Server, and DB2.
• Deep understanding of Data Lakehouse concepts and Data Warehousing methodologies (Bill Inmon and Ralph Kimball).
• Ability to manage complex modeling programs with 100+ entities and databases exceeding 10 TB.
• Expertise in writing complex SQL queries for data analysis and DDL deployment.
• Practical experience with Agile/SAFe methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Master Data Management (MDM), Data Quality, Data Lineage, and Data Governance.
• Proficiency with modeling tools such as Erwin R1, ER/Studio, or Toad Data Modeler.
• Financial domain knowledge.
