Description

Design and maintain data models that support business requirements while ensuring data consistency, quality, and accuracy.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to meet business needs.
• Utilize DRB methodologies to create and maintain comprehensive data resource books.
• Develop and optimize database schemas through normalization, indexing, and partitioning.
• Support ETL processes and data integration initiatives to maintain integrity across systems.
• Implement data warehousing solutions to support reporting and analytics requirements.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in data modelling, database design, and data management.
• Extensive experience with conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Strong proficiency in DRB (Data Resource Book) methodologies and tools.
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and database management.
• Expertise in data modelling tools such as Erwin or IBM InfoSphere Data Architect.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
• Knowledge of data governance, data management, and data engineering concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Big Data technologies including Hadoop, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
• Master's degree in a related technical field.
