Description

You will design and manage data models and metadata for financial systems, ensuring strict adherence to data management standards.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design physical data structures and dimensional models for relational, NoSQL, and distributed databases.
• Develop and maintain metadata management practices and data model standards.
• Create and optimize SQL queries and Visual Basic macros for data analysis.
• Manage version control and incident tracking using ClearCase, Git, and Remedy.
• Apply mortgage and finance industry-specific data modeling techniques.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of experience in data modeling and metadata management.
• Proficiency in relational, dimensional, and NoSQL data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with DB2, UDB, Oracle, Sybase, Snowflake, Postgres, MongoDB, and SQL Server.
• Experience with ER/Studio DA or Erwin for physical data structure design.
• Strong SQL and Visual Basic macro development skills.
• Proficiency with ClearCase, Git, and Remedy.

Preferred Skills

• Domain experience in mortgage or finance industry data modeling.
