Description

You will design, implement, and manage data models to ensure the consistency and reliability of organizational data systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize conceptual, logical, and physical data models for OLTP and OLAP workloads.
• Create data dictionaries, metadata, and entity-relationship diagrams to document models.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, and analysts to translate business requirements into effective data models.
• Enforce data modeling standards and partner with Data Governance to develop new guidelines.
• Support database schema design, structure implementation, and performance tuning.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in physical/logical data modeling and database design for relational and non-relational databases.
• Expertise in data modeling and metadata management tools such as Erwin or ER/Studio.
• Advanced proficiency with SQL.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and Cosmos DB.
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical data models.
• Strong documentation skills for presenting data definitions and models to stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Banking, Financial, or Lending sectors.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Knowledge of Banking Industry Architecture Network (BIAN) information architecture.
