Description

Design and build data models for large-scale financial and accounting systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models for financial systems, journals, and accounting datasets.
• Define data standards, structures, and relationships across the organization.
• Collaborate with analysts and engineers to implement and optimize models for performance and scalability.
• Support data mapping and transformation processes between disparate systems.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity and model optimization.

Required Skills

• Expert knowledge of Python.
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL.
• Proficiency with data formats including XML, JSON, Parquet, Avro, and Protobuf.
• 8+ years of experience in data model design.
• Strong understanding of financial instruments, with preference for derivatives.
• Experience modeling accounting and journal data.

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Structured analysis approach and high adaptability.
