Description

You will design and implement scalable data architectures on Google Cloud Platform for large-scale, data-intensive systems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models for complex, high-volume data systems.
• Write, tune, and interpret complex SQL queries to optimize performance.
• Build, maintain, and reverse-engineer ETL pipelines using Python, Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
• Manage metadata, data cataloging, and IT governance operations.
• Present technical solutions and concepts to leadership and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Data Modeler.
• Expertise in GCP architecture, specifically BigQuery.
• Strong proficiency in SQL optimization and data modeling techniques.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Apache Dataflow, and Cloud Composer.
• Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize existing ETL pipelines.
• Strong understanding of metadata management and data cataloging.
• Experience with version control systems.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
