Description

You will lead the strategy and lifecycle management of alternative data products to deliver actionable insights for Capital Markets, Global Research, and Investment Banking teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a product strategy and vision for alternative data products aligned with business objectives.
• Partner with engineering, design, and data science teams to build and iterate on products using agile methodologies.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from ideation and discovery through to launch, scaling, and optimization.
• Collaborate with data engineering to integrate new data sources, ensure data quality, and build machine learning models.
• Define product OKRs and evaluate performance using KPIs and analytics to drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure data products adhere to regulatory requirements, security standards, and data governance frameworks.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of product management experience, specifically developing data products in Capital Markets, Financial Services, or Technology.
• Deep understanding of Capital Markets, alternative data, and financial technology ecosystems.
• Proficiency with SQL and Python.
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and Snowflake.
• Experience using Tableau for data visualization and insights.
• Technical familiarity with cloud platforms including Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects in an agile environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience as a Data Product Manager at firms such as Bloomberg or Nasdaq.
• Experience working with buy-side asset managers, hedge funds, or other financial institutions.
• Advanced degree or MBA.
