Description

Lead data program delivery and technical strategy within the Azure ecosystem. Own the migration of legacy data to Azure Data Lake and oversee the transition of data workflows to modern cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Represent technical requirements in architectural discussions with data teams to ensure successful legacy data migration.
• Build rapport with customer stakeholders to articulate problem statements and solutions.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts during data solution implementation.
• Provide technical expertise on cloud architecture, storage, platform services, and RDBMS/ODS practices.
• Oversee the transition of data workflows to modern cloud architectures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data program management or technical leadership.
• Expert hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure Data Lake Store.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and RDBMS/ODS database practices.
• Deep understanding of ETL processing and ETL toolsets.
• Experience with Databricks and Azure cloud data solutions.
• Knowledge of Data Management concepts using SQL Server, Oracle, Snowflake, or Azure.
• Experience with Hadoop databases, BI applications, data quality, and performance tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing large-scale legacy data migrations to cloud platforms.
