You will solve complex retail problems through advanced statistical modeling and machine learning.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collect and clean data from various sources and systems to prepare it for analysis.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and trends.
• Design, build, and fine-tune predictive models and machine learning algorithms to address business objectives.
• Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate technical insights to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineers, product managers, and business teams to provide strategic recommendations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in a data science role specifically within the retail domain.
• Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages for data development.
• Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms and statistical modeling.
• Experience with data mining and prediction algorithms.
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and exploratory data analysis (EDA).
• Ability to handle retail-specific problems such as inventory shrinkage and negative inventory.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools.
• Experience working within the GCP ecosystem, including BigQuery.
