You will build predictive solutions and AI tools to improve clinical workflows and organizational efficiency. You own the full lifecycle of machine learning projects, from data exploration to production deployment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to define objectives and design AI/ML solutions that meet business needs.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to evaluate data suitability for specific AI/ML use cases.
• Optimize Large Language Model output through prompt engineering and the development of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines.
• Develop, test, and deploy scalable, interpretable machine learning models and production-quality pipelines.
• Conduct model audits for fairness, bias, equity, and interpretability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in a data science role.
• Expert-level Python development and SQL experience.
• PhD in a data science-related area.
• Deep expertise in machine learning, including hyperparameter tuning and complex feature engineering.
• Proficiency in building and implementing complex machine learning pipelines.
• Experience with prompt engineering and LLM optimization.
• Advanced knowledge of clinical data querying and analysis.
• Experience deploying custom models to cloud platforms and working within MLOps frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Git, Docker, GitHub, Big Query, Data Analysis, and Vertexai.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading large-scale projects and coaching executives on leveraging ML/AI for decision-making.
