Description

You will design and implement machine learning models, with a focus on text analytics and NLP.

Responsibilities

• Build supervised and unsupervised models using algorithms like k-NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, logistic regression, MLPs, and RNNs.
• Develop NLP solutions, including embeddings and Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) systems.
• Write efficient Python code for data science workflows using Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, scikit-learn, and NLTK.
• Query and manage data using SQL and databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Create data visualizations using matplotlib, plotly, seaborn, or ggplot.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
• Strong proficiency in Python and the data science ecosystem.
• Deep understanding of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques.
• Experience with NLP and text analytics.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Hive, Pig, and Scala.
• Experience with cloud technologies on AWS or Microsoft Azure.
