Description

You lead the development and deployment of deep learning-based computer vision systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and down-select between competing modeling approaches using evidence-based conclusions.
• Design and implement object detection, classification, and anomaly detection models.
• Produce reusable, well-documented code and frameworks for the data science team.
• Develop evaluation methods for rare-event and class-imbalanced problems.
• Communicate technical findings effectively to both technical and business audiences.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in machine learning, computer vision, or analytical product development.
• Advanced programming skills in Python and PyTorch.
• Strong knowledge of modern computer vision techniques and deep learning.
• Experience working in version-controlled development environments.
• Master’s degree or PhD in computer science, engineering, mathematics, statistics, or a related quantitative field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with vision foundation models, few-shot learning, or transfer learning.
• Background in industrial inspection, manufacturing quality assurance, or infrastructure.
• Familiarity with cloud-based ML platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
