Description

You will develop and deploy machine learning and generative AI models for healthcare applications, focusing on clinical data interpretation and patient profile integration.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Utilize NLP techniques to interpret clinical notes, diagnoses, and medical texts.
• Integrate structured and unstructured data sources into comprehensive patient profiles.
• Automate the generation of patient history and treatment summaries using customizable templates.
• Build and deploy models, including LLMs, using Vertex AI on GCP.
• Develop data extraction, NLP modules, and basic data normalization functionalities.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in the healthcare domain.
• Proficiency in Python or R.
• Experience with Vertex AI and Vertex AI APIs.
• Experience developing and deploying generative AI models using PaLM 2 or MedLM.
• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms including regression, classification, and clustering.
• Practical experience with natural language processing (NLP) tools and libraries.
• Hands-on experience with GCP cloud platforms.
• Experience with ML deployment and multi-model exploration.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and protocols such as FHIR.
