Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines and warehousing solutions within a Snowflake and Azure environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop EL pipelines using Databricks, Python, and SnowSQL to move data in and out of the warehouse.
• Translate mapping specifications into data transformation designs, code, and implementation strategies.
• Write UNIX and Python scripts to automate extract, load, and transform processes.
• Perform code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and optimal execution patterns.
• Monitor operational level agreements regarding warehouse health, performance, cost, and data quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data warehousing, including OLTP, OLAP, Dimensions, Facts, and Data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake utilities including SnowSQL, SnowPipe, Tasks, Streams, Time travel, Optimizer, Metadata Manager, and data sharing.
• Proficiency in developing Snowflake stored procedures.
• Working knowledge of MS Azure configuration items in relation to Snowflake.
• Strong experience with Python for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with UNIX scripting.
• Ability to automate data pipelines using cloud-based testing.
