Description

Manage and optimize complex database environments across Oracle, SAP ASE/Sybase, Postgres, and Cassandra. Implement system improvements for stability and performance while automating administrative tasks.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support diverse database technologies including Oracle, SAP ASE/Sybase, and Postgres.
• Proactively recommend and implement system improvements to enhance stability and performance.
• Automate administrative tasks using scripting and configuration management tools.
• Manage distributed data with Cassandra and support SAP Rep Server operations.
• Collate, prepare, and present statistical data for internal and external stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expertise with Oracle and SAP ASE/Sybase.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Rep Server.
• Proficiency with Postgres and Redis.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Automation experience using Ansible, Python, and Shell scripting.
• Ability to manage distributed data with Cassandra.

• Degree in any field of study.
