Description

You will manage and maintain operational database services to ensure availability and performance across Smartsheet DataMesh, Shuttle, Pivot, and Control Center.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of database requests, incidents, and tickets.
• Monitor daily service items including data backups, maintenance jobs, replication, and system alerts.
• Design and engineer solutions for Smartsheet DataMesh, Shuttle, Pivot, and Control Center.
• Develop automation, architecture improvements, and performance tuning strategies.
• Collaborate across teams to resolve recurring problems and support testing and analytics requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in database administration.
• Deep expertise in Smartsheet (required).
• Proficiency in SQL and Data Modeling.
• Strong background in Database Design and Performance Tuning.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Ability to write scripts for automation and task management.
• Experience in Data Analysis and reporting support.
