Description

Manage and optimize Oracle database environments, focusing on Exadata infrastructure and large-scale migrations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle MDMS database environments and Exadata machines.
• Plan and execute migrations to Exadata platforms.
• Optimize Oracle databases and tune query performance.
• Develop and execute scripts for database management.
• Implement best practices for configuring and running Oracle Exadata.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle Exadata and Exalogic.
• Proficiency with Oracle Databases 19c and multitenant concepts (CDBs and PDBs).
• Experience using Oracle OEM Cloud Control.
• Experience with Oracle ZDLRA for database backups and restores.
• Ability to install and administer Oracle databases on Linux, Unix, and Windows.
• Experience configuring and administering Oracle DataGuard and GoldenGate.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL (Oracle 11+), Database Functions, and Stored Procedures.
• Experience with Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC).

Preferred Skills

• PostgreSQL Administration.
• Experience implementing vendor products.
