Description

You will manage and secure multiple database systems to ensure high availability and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Monitor database systems proactively to maintain service availability and security.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and assist SQL developers with development needs.
• Create, maintain, and test backup and disaster recovery plans.
• Execute database maintenance, including new rollouts, upgrades, and change releases.
• Provide trend analysis to management regarding system resource requirements.

Required Skills

• In-depth experience with Microsoft SQL Server database administration.
• Hands-on expertise with Transactional SQL and stored procedures.
• Experience managing on-premises and Azure-hosted MS SQL database security.
• Practical experience in monitoring and tuning databases.
• 3-5 years of experience in a database management role.
• 3-5 years of experience with cloud-based SQL solutions.
• 3-5 years of experience developing Windows and/or web-based SQL applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft SQL Server certifications.
