Description

You will lead database architecture and modeling for a large-scale cloud migration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce database design standards for consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
• Lead database development within the Guidewire platform to ensure high availability and low latency.
• Identify and resolve database performance issues supporting millions of users.
• Collaborate with 200+ software and data engineers on database design and implementation.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database architecture, modeling, and administration.
• Extensive experience with 3NF normalization and dimensional modeling.
• Hands-on experience with Aurora PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with relational and cloud-based databases.
• Experience with ETL development and data integration processes.
• Proven track record leading 3+ large-scale database projects.
• Experience with modeling tools like Erwin.
• Experience with database monitoring tools like Datadog.
• Any Graduate degree.
