Description

You will design, develop, and maintain complex database systems to ensure performance, availability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop database solutions, including tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, and functions.
• Optimize database performance through query tuning, indexing, and scalability improvements.
• Perform data modeling and implement data migration strategies to ensure integrity across systems.
• Monitor database performance to identify and resolve issues through regular maintenance.
• Collaborate with application developers to optimize database interactions and troubleshoot issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in database development and management.
• Strong proficiency in SQL development and database design.
• Hands-on experience with database performance tuning and optimization.
• Expertise in creating and managing database objects like stored procedures and functions.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and design principles.
• Proficiency with SQL, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
• Familiarity with cloud database solutions.
• Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence tools.
