Description

Own database solution design and implementation within an R&D environment, developing supporting analytics systems.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement new database solutions using object-oriented methodologies.
• Peer review software changes submitted by other developers to ensure code quality.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team.
• Research and apply new technologies to solve existing problem spaces.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in development using object-oriented methodologies.
• Expertise in PL/SQL programming.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle RDBMS and advanced Oracle database development features.
• Proficiency with GIT, JIRA, and Team Foundation Server.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of functional programming.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
