Description

You will manage and maintain MySQL database environments within an AWS infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Administer MySQL databases, including EC2 and RDS instances.
• Design and implement database architecture focused on high availability, recovery, and security.
• Automate cloud infrastructure tasks using shell scripting or programming languages.
• Support additional database platforms including PostgreSQL and Vertica.
• Work within US shift timings.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience managing MySQL databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS administration, specifically EC2 and RDS.
• Proficiency in shell scripting.
• Experience with Python or Ruby for automation.
• Strong understanding of database architecture, high availability, and recovery principles.
• Knowledge of database security protocols.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Vertica.
