Description

You will lead database migration efforts to the cloud while ensuring high availability and data integrity. You own the release pipeline for database changes and manage non-production environment test data through automated processes.

Responsibilities

• Drive database migrations to the cloud with minimal downtime and strict adherence to data integrity.
• Own disaster recovery plans, ensuring RTO and RPO objectives are met for all databases.
• Design databases for scalability and performance to meet platform SLIs.
• Implement security measures, perform regular scans, and resolve security defects within SLA.
• Optimize performance by analyzing AWR reports, conducting SQL code reviews, and tuning queries.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle RDBMS, including independent design and management.
• 2-3 years of PL/SQL programming, performance tuning, and code reviews.
• 3-4 years of scripting experience using Shell, Python, Go, or similar languages.
• 1-2 years of experience managing AWS RDS and IAM role management.
• 1-2 years of experience using GoldenGate for data replication.
• Proven experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Ability to work independently on complex database architecture and optimization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data migration and NoSQL, specifically Graph DB.
• Experience using ETL tools.
