You will design, implement, and maintain complex database solutions to ensure application stability and solve business problems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modify application-specific database modules using SQL, PL/SQL, Python, or Shell.
• Debug critical database issues, focusing on SQL performance tuning and system stability.
• Own the development and deployment of database changes across production and non-production environments.
• Define engineering best practices and mentor teams in TDD and automated unit testing.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX/UI, and distributed teams to meet technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Database Developer or DBA.
• 7+ years of experience as an Oracle Developer/DBA with deep expertise in database internals.
• Expert-level PL/SQL and SQL development skills.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell programming.
• Extensive experience with Oracle database features and performance tuning.
• Hands-on experience with Linux operating systems, specifically RedHat.
• Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, Ansible, Bitbucket, and Artifactory.
• Knowledge of public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree.
• Experience with Oracle Virtual Private Database (VPD), Oracle Partitioning, RDS Oracle/PostgreSQL, or Oracle Cloud Control.
• Knowledge of Golden Gate, Golden Gate BDA, Java, Hibernate, or Oracle Certification.
