Description

You will design, implement, and maintain complex databases with a focus on access methods, security, and data organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain complex databases, optimizing for access time, device allocation, and security protocols.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes in compliance with industry standards and security guidelines.
• Resolve issue tickets promptly while maintaining accurate technical documentation and system diagrams.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and clients to define and refine technical requirements.
• Update and optimize existing database structures to meet evolving organizational needs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, specifically MySQL and MariaDB.
• 5+ years of experience in database development, design, and modeling.
• Expert-level SQL skills.
• 2+ years of experience writing C/C++ code for operating systems or databases.
• Proficiency in Python, PHP, or JavaScript.
• Experience with UNIX and basic shell scripting.
• Proficiency in ETL design using tools such as SSIS, Informatica, or Data Loader.
• Strong knowledge of sFTP.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

Preferred Skills

• Senior knowledge of AWS Glue, Data Lake, and SQS.
• Experience using Cleo for sFTP.
