Description

You will manage and optimize large-scale enterprise database systems and cloud infrastructure on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot complex software solutions and technical architectures.
• Write secure, high-quality production code and perform code reviews and debugging for the team.
• Automate the remediation of recurring issues to improve operational stability.
• Lead technical evaluations of external vendors and internal architectural designs.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies through engineering communities of practice.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing large enterprise databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud Databases, specifically Aurora PostgreSQL or Oracle RDS.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB, or DynamoDB.
• Experience with automation using Shell Scripting, Python, JavaScript, or NodeJS.
• Practical use of AWS Lambda for serverless automation.
• Experience provisioning cloud services using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for database performance and stability issues.
• Experience working with open source software technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on database administration across diverse DB technologies.
• Experience deploying, debugging, and maintaining databases in enterprise environments.
