Description

You will design, optimize, and fine-tune Databricks environments for customers, driving advanced analytics and AI initiatives.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Consult directly with customers to design and optimize Databricks clusters, workflows, and architecture.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Python and SQL.
• Integrate Databricks with AWS, Azure, or GCP data platforms.
• Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and drive continuous performance improvements.

Required Skills

• Active Secret Clearance.
• Proven production experience with Databricks and Apache Spark.
• Strong proficiency in Python and/or SQL.
• Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Knowledge of Data Lakehouse architecture and data modeling.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git.
• Ability to pass a Databricks-led technical interview.

Preferred Skills

• Master's Degree or PhD.
• Experience with MLflow, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, or Kafka.
• Prior consulting or customer-facing experience.
