Description

Lead data engineering and analytics solutions using Azure and Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement large-scale data ingestion, processing, and curation pipelines using Azure Databricks and Spark.
• Build batch and streaming data solutions with Azure Event Hub, Azure Stream Analytics, and Azure Functions.
• Orchestrate data workflows and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure Data Factory and Azure DevOps.
• Develop consumption layers and BI dashboards, including Power BI, to support decision-making.
• Own the full development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning, and production support.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software solution development in agile, DevOps, and product models.
• 3+ years of data analytics experience with SQL.
• 3+ years of full-stack development experience, preferably in Azure.
• 3+ years of cloud development and data lake experience (Microsoft Azure preferred).
• Expertise in Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Event Hub, and Azure Databricks.
• Experience with ADX and traditional data warehouse tools.
• Ability to work with a CST time zone shift and collaborate with geographically dispersed teams.

Preferred Skills

• Azure Development Track Certification.
• Spark Certification.
• Airline Industry Domain Experience.
