Description

You will deploy, manage, and optimize the Datadog monitoring stack across 600+ Windows servers, ensuring comprehensive observability for IIS, SQL Server, and application performance.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and scale the Datadog Agent across Windows environments using Terraform or Ansible.
• Configure real-time dashboards for server health, FactorSoft API performance, and infrastructure metrics.
• Implement monitoring for Windows Event Logs and Cloud SIEM to satisfy security requirements.
• Optimize Datadog usage costs through Cloud Cost Management strategies.
• Train the DevOps team on alerting, dashboard management, and maintain technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years in observability or DevOps roles.
• 3+ years with Datadog in Windows environments (IIS, SQL Server, app servers).
• Expertise in Datadog Agent setup, Windows Service monitoring, and integrations like SQL Server and Active Directory.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
• Proven ability to create dashboards, alerts, and SLOs.
• Strong communication skills for delivering training and technical documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Datadog certifications (e.g., Fundamentals) or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in financial services, on-premise monitoring, or Datadog security features.
