Description

You will lead the migration of DataStage from version 11.7.0.2 to IBM Cloud Pak for Data V4.5 or higher. You own the release pipeline, upgrade jobs to Cloud Pak components, and replace legacy Adobe Flash dependencies by parsing Oracle CLOB data into XML structures.

Responsibilities

• Execute the upgrade and conversion of DataStage jobs from standalone applications to the Cloud Pak for Data component.
• Parse Oracle CLOB data into individual elements and compile data elements into XML structures.
• Migrate and test inbound and outbound interface files across diverse source and target systems.
• Manage deployment automation within a CI/CD pipeline using container management principles.
• Conduct knowledge transfer, training, and documentation sessions for the existing operational team.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of professional experience.
• 5+ years of DataStage experience processing files for Salesforce, PeopleSoft, DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• 5+ years of experience loading data from primary application databases to warehouse tables.
• 5+ years of experience parsing Oracle CLOB data and compiling XML formats.
• 4+ years of experience with IBM Cloud Pak for Data, DataStage, and Container Management.
• 4+ years of experience with deployment automation within CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in XML and managing diverse data sources including flat files.
