Description

You will lead the design, development, and implementation of end-to-end data warehouse solutions and ETL processes.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own all phases of the SDLC, from gathering functional requirements to creating high and low-level technical design documents.
• Design and implement master controlling sequencer jobs and automate exception and summary reporting.
• Perform data analysis, coding, and implementation of data conversion modules and server routines.
• Optimize application performance through profiling and develop integration test strategies for ETL jobs.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior programmers on technical implementation and best practices.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development, systems analysis, or programming.
• Expertise in DataStage, Oracle, SQL Plus, and SQL Loader.
• Proficiency with SQL Server, Sybase, and SSIS.
• Strong experience with Unix, Sun Solaris, and Windows environments.
• Ability to write complex SQL queries and perform data profiling.
• Hands-on experience with TOAD and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with Shell Scripting, XML, XSLT, and Java/J2EE.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PL/SQL, SQL Loader, and DMP.
• Familiarity with Informatica, SAP BW, Erwin, Quality Stage, and DataStage Job Sequencer.
