Description

You will lead SQL database infrastructure, focusing on development, performance tuning, and high availability operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain Microsoft SQL Server instances (2014-2022).
• Manage Always On setups, failover clustering, and high availability configurations.
• Perform performance tuning through index analysis, query refactoring, and hardware/server configuration changes.
• Execute database backup and restore strategies using SAN snapshots and other technologies.
• Implement enterprise-level data security layers and disaster recovery plans.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in database administration.
• Expert-level proficiency in SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure database services.
• Advanced expertise in Python or PowerShell scripting.
• Proficiency with SSIS and SSRS technologies.
• Experience managing very large databases and complex SQL integrations.
• Knowledge of backup software such as Cohesity or Veritas NetBackup.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Delphix and HVR.
