Description

You provide primary support for critical, complex production MS SQL databases.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents, driving root cause analysis for repeat issues.
• Execute database configuration changes, DDL, patching, and documented upgrades.
• Participate in new system builds by creating databases, schemas, and deploying standard jobs and monitoring.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal technical teams to ensure timely resolution of service requests.
• Develop technical documentation and provide recommendations for long-term design solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience providing 24x7 support for MS SQL (2005, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2016) on Windows.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL, patch management, and database configuration.
• Proven ability in performance tuning and managing database storage capacity.
• Experience managing DDL and executing database upgrades.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related technical/engineering field.
