Design, plan, and maintain enterprise backup and storage infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and configure enterprise backup software and storage systems.
• Manage SAN Fabric configurations including VSANs, port-channels, and zoning.
• Own the release pipeline for backup systems and storage solutions.
• Troubleshoot SAN environments, migrations, and replication issues.
• Document technical procedures and system configurations accurately.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in IT environments, System Administration, or Backup and Storage Administration.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Commvault backup infrastructure.
• 7+ years of experience designing and enhancing enterprise backup software.
• 5 years of experience with backup and network storage activities.
• Hands-on automation experience using Python, Perl, or Shell Scripting.
• Experience with MDS SAN Switches and SAN management tools.
• Proficiency in SAN Fabric configuration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Windows, Unix, and ESX storage configurations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, VMWare, UNIX, Linux, and Windows administration.
• Agile methodology experience.
• Operating system and backup certifications.
