Description

You will own Windows Desktop and infrastructure performance within the Wealth Management and ISG Enterprise Technology Services organization.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain a scalable, configurable automated testing framework.
• Conduct system and infrastructure performance testing to ensure reliability, capacity, and scalability.
• Develop automated test scenarios and environments to simulate production traffic loads.
• Analyze root causes of performance issues and coordinate corrective actions with engineering teams.
• Create performance baselines for Windows and Mac desktop platforms and reproduce customer issues in lab environments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in information technology within large enterprise Windows environments.
• Strong scripting knowledge with PowerShell, plus Batch, WMI, or VBScript.
• Deep understanding of system and infrastructure performance counters impacting user experience.
• Hands-on experience with troubleshooting tools such as procdump, Wireshark, Fiddler, and Procmon.
• Experience with monitoring tools including Perfmon, SysTrack, and Splunk.
• Knowledge of infrastructure components including F5, A10, routers, and WAN connectivity.
• Ability to write technical documentation, including system design and engineering documents.
• Experience in performance testing including script creation, scenario design, and test execution.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior experience with desktop and server-side resource analysis.
