Description

You will develop and maintain web applications and services within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using object-oriented programming, common data structures, and design patterns.
• Build and deploy services using REST/SOAP protocols and J2EE technologies.
• Scrutinize applications and services to ensure adherence to security standards.
• Implement automated testing using TDD and diagnostic tools.
• Manage containerized environments and infrastructure-as-code configurations.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of total development experience.
• 4+ years of experience building web applications or services.
• Proficiency in Java, JSP, JMS, JAXB, and JDBC.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Angular JS, Ext JS, CSS, and React.
• Knowledge of REST/SOAP (JSON, WSDL, XML).
• Experience with Maven, Git, and JUnit.
• Experience with Azure cloud technologies and DevOps toolchains.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
• Knowledge of Linux/Unix shell scripting.
• Experience with Object/Relational Mapping and query performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Tomcat, tcServer, or WebSphere.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools such as SOAUPUI, Fiddler, or Dynatrace.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Database migration experience from IBM to Azure.
• Cybersecurity or Data Privacy certifications and experience.
• Airline industry experience.
