Description

Build and deploy automated high-throughput DNA sequencing workflows for specialty genetics laboratories.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy software workflows to manage operational activities in regulated laboratory environments.
• Ensure availability, performance, and scalability of laboratory automation systems.
• Integrate systems via vendor APIs or file-based communication with third-party applications.
• Mentor engineers and guide project team members on technical implementation.
• Write and maintain unit tests for application stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Vue.js.
• 3+ years in a regulated industrial life sciences environment.
• Experience with GitLab version control and Linux environments.
• Ability to integrate systems via vendor APIs or file-based communication.
• Familiarity with writing unit tests.

Preferred Skills

• MS or PhD in Bioengineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Knowledge of L7 ESP LIMS.
