Description

You will design and implement a new industrial equipment data collection system using modern architecture patterns.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a new data collection system to replace existing industrial equipment monitoring.
• Install and configure Ignition gateway and Core components.
• Identify and implement drivers, such as Allen Bradley, to ingest data from PLCs.
• Build dashboards in Ignition Perspective, replicating functionality from existing Factory Talk View systems.
• Expose data via MQTT or other formats to work with integration partners like EMQX.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in industrial data collection or equipment performance management.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs for data collection.
• Proficiency with SQL Server.
• Experience with MQTT protocols.
• Ability to work with IIoT networking and firewall requirements.
• Knowledge of C#/.Net to analyze and replicate existing Rockwell product suite functionality.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ignition, Timeseries databases, or industrial process historians.
