Description

You will lead the design, development, and optimization of Snowflake data architecture and ETL pipelines.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize Snowflake objects including databases, schemas, tables, views, and stored procedures.
• Manage data migration from Azure Cloud to Snowflake while ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using Coalesce and Fivetran to extract data from MS-SQL Server.
• Implement continuous data loading and unloading using Snowpipe.
• Configure Snowflake security via system roles, custom roles, role hierarchies, masking policies, and network policies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of IT experience with at least 3 years specifically as a Snowflake Developer.
• Expertise in SnowSQL, Snowpipe, Stages, Zero Copy Clone, Streams, Tasks, and Time Travel.
• Proficiency with Snowflake commands: COPY, PUT, LIST, GET, and REMOVE.
• Extensive experience with MS-SQL Server (T-SQL), including complex queries, stored procedures, views, functions, triggers, and indexes.
• Hands-on experience with Azure integration and both batch and bulk data loading.
• Knowledge of data sharing, data governance, and row access policies.
• Experience working within an Agile development environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Finance, Economics, or an equivalent field.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience or high-level understanding of hedge funds, private debt, or private equity.
