Description

You will develop and maintain complex data solutions and infrastructure architectures to support investment management business processes. You own the release pipeline, perform design and code reviews, and conduct root cause analysis on production defects.

Responsibilities

• Code high-complexity modules and establish technical patterns for the development team.
• Own analysis, high-level design, and architecture research to improve team productivity.
• Collaborate with Architects, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters to implement project plans.
• Provide technical direction and coaching to a team of 2-4 software developers.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience with heavy focus on MS SQL development and stored procedure development.
• 5+ years of experience in ETL and creating data load jobs.
• 5+ years of experience using job schedulers, preferably Tidal.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• 3+ years of professional experience working with Perl.
• Strong knowledge of relational database design and development concepts.
• Experience with Visual Studio (2017/2019/2022) and TFS (Team Foundation Server).
• 5+ years of experience within the Insurance, Banking, or Financial Services domains.
• Experience working in Agile environments and managing stakeholder requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Advanced MS Excel and MS Access skills, including writing and editing macros.
• Knowledge of Azure Cloud, C#, Python, or GIT.
• Experience with release management utilizing CI/CD and DevSecOps concepts.
