Description

You will own backend services and big data processing pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug Java backend services using Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Build Spark applications using Scala for data processing.
• Implement solutions leveraging Hadoop, HDFS, and distributed computing frameworks.
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Bitbucket.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Proficiency with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience developing with Scala and the Spark ecosystem (Spark, Spark SQL).
• Working knowledge of Big Data technologies including Hadoop and HDFS.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Gradle, Bitbucket).
• Experience using project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Technical experience working within an agile environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with distributed computing frameworks beyond Hadoop.
