Description

You will design and maintain build packaging systems and developer workflows for embedded software across various target processors.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and deploy updates to Conan-based build packaging systems for embedded software.
• Integrate and validate vendor toolchains into build systems using CMake or similar make systems for C and C++ compilation.
• Develop tools to deploy, test, and debug embedded applications within the developer workflow.
• Contribute to all CI/CD lifecycle phases, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, automated testing, and release.
• Analyze technical problems to propose and implement comprehensive design solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience building software in Python, specifically using the Conan packaging system.
• Experience with CMake, Make, or similar build systems.
• Experience using Jenkins for building, deploying, and testing, including debugging and tool deployment.
• Experience with cross-compilation on Linux development environments.
• Experience building software for Linux and embedded platforms.
• Proficiency with GitHub, GitLab, or equivalent version control systems.
• Experience writing unit tests using Python frameworks such as pytest.
• Experience developing and utilizing web APIs.
• BSEE, BSCS, BSCE, or BSSE degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing C/C++ in an embedded environment and writing unit tests using frameworks like cpp-unit, catch2, or GTest.
• Experience deploying and maintaining microservices.
