Description

You will own core DevOps engineering responsibilities supporting client environments, managing infrastructure, and automating deployment pipelines.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Administer and configure GitHub Enterprise Cloud, managing repositories, branching strategies, and access control.
• Automate workflows and maintain code quality using CI/CD tools, including GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Implement governance rules and integrate webhooks into GitHub projects for compliance checks.
• Manage Hyper-V server administration, including hardware, backup, recovery, and disaster/recovery procedures.
• Support and train end users across all technical levels.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of professional experience in DevOps and IT infrastructure.
• Proven experience administering GitHub Enterprise Cloud.
• Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration/Delivery models.
• Proficiency in automation and build tools: Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, and OpenShift.
• Experience with application servers: WebSphere, JBoss, and Tomcat.
• Strong scripting ability using Shell, Python, Ruby, or Perl.
• Database administration experience with Oracle, MySQL, or Postgres.
• Hands-on experience with Agile Scrum methodologies and Jira administration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting large development projects using Agile methodology.
