Description

You will own the release pipeline, infrastructure automation, and resiliency for large-scale, mission-critical applications in Houston.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ensuring high availability and security.
• Automate infrastructure and operational tasks using Python and Shell scripting.
• Implement AWS resiliency, performance optimization, and disaster recovery strategies.
• Manage Unix/Linux environments for distributed, high-traffic systems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software engineering or DevOps experience in large-scale environments.
• Deep proficiency in Unix/Linux administration and automation.
• Strong experience with AWS, including resiliency and security best practices.
• Hands-on CI/CD expertise with Jenkins.
• Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
• Experience with SQL and REST APIs.
• Understanding of Spring Boot and Node.js ecosystems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging APIs (e.g., JMS).
• Experience with automated testing (TDD) and application security.
