Description

Build and maintain a next-generation data platform as a development-heavy DevOps engineer.

Responsibilities

• Write object-oriented Python code to manage infrastructure and platform components.
• Develop and maintain custom CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and AWS CodePipeline.
• Manage and deploy cloud infrastructure using AWS CDK or similar IaC tools.
• Monitor and maintain AWS services including Lambda, Kinesis, S3, and EventBridge.
• Self-manage workloads and prioritize tasks within a large-scale engineering project.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in a DevOps or software engineering role.
• Strong programming skills in Python, specifically using object-oriented principles.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, Kinesis, S3, and EventBridge.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) such as AWS CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform, or Pulumi.
• Proficiency in managing CI/CD workflows via GitHub Actions.
• Deep understanding of Git commands, version control, and deployment patterns.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own technical priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with TypeScript.
