Description

You will own the technical direction and operational stability for engineering teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to business, tech teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Mentor team members and champion DevOps and SRE principles organization-wide.
• Drive product design, application functionality, and technical operations decisions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex problems using engineering and automation.
• Advocate for and implement firm-wide frameworks, tools, and SDLC best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of applied experience with formal software engineering training.
• Deep Linux/Unix fundamentals covering memory, storage, and networking.
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, including Jenkins, Blue/Green, Canary, and A/B deployment strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
• Strong coding skills in Python, Java, Groovy, JavaScript, React, or NodeJS.
• Experience setting up, migrating, and maintaining applications on public or private clouds (Kubernetes required).
• Proficiency in large-scale enterprise development, debugging, and database querying.
• Understanding of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with React or NodeJS for tooling and automation.
• Background in mentoring and technical leadership.
